For those who write for living, checking for typos is essential.

 Review it many times.

This is the most orthodox method, but it will miss typos.

There is not much point in advocating spiritual theory, for example "Watch with concentration" "Watch with effort". Even if there are typos, this is because humans have the ability to automatically correct themselves in our brains.

For example, even if there is a misspelling such as "Beauteful", if you know the correct way to say "Beautiful", a phenomenon occurs in which people automatically view something as "beautiful".

This is called the "Typoglycemia phenomenon".

We wrote this ourself, so of course we know the content.

If we had known in advance that "beautiful" would come after this phrase, furthermore, the typoglycemia phenomenon is more likely to occur.

Although it is slightly different form the typoglycemia phenomeno, when translating into Chenese, checking for spelling errors in kanji is a daily routine.

Chinese also uses kanji, but there are many words that are written slightly differently in Japan and China.

For example, "Russia". In Japan, it used to be written as "俄斯".

In Chinese, it is "俄斯". I once confused it with the Japanese kanji notation and overlooked a typo.

What can we do to improve the quality of our typo checking?

Generality, a good method is to print out the text our created on our computer, check in on paper.

After all, paper media is overwhelmingly easier to check.

Another good method is to let our manuscript sit overnight.

Refresh our head, which is in translation mode. If we don't have time, going out for shopping or other activities is a good way to clear our mind.

The OS also has a typo check function, but in literary works, there are many intentionally incorrect expressions, such as intentionally changing the word order, in the end, we have no choice but to visually check it using an analog method.
