Snakes are often hated due to their creepy appearance and fear of being poisonous, but their unique limbless bodies and their ecosystems are intriguing.

The reason why snakes don't have limbs is because a type of lizard that had the habit of burrowing underground degenerated to make it easier to burrow.
100 million years ago during the early Cretaceous period, when dinosaurs roamed around. Although the lack of limbs may seem inconvenient, they have evolved to be able to twist their bodies and move quickly.

In order to survive the harsh struggle for survival, snakes follow two evolutionary processes.
One is the orthodox "Enlargement".
Starting from the original species "Thecodont" which was about 1 to 2m long, snakes grew to be gigantic just as dinosaurs grew to gigantic sizes. Some of the largest species such as anacondas and reticulated pythons which still live today, can grow up to be about 10m long.
Another one is the familiar "Poisonous".
Snake venom is an enhanced disinfectant of saliva.

Human saliva has the effect of preventing dryness in the mouth, aiding in the digestion of food and disinfecting bacteria. Spit is "Poisonous" to microorganisms.
Snake venom has this disinfectant effect and has gained the ability to kill animals including humans. The largest venomous snake is the king cobra, which lives in India and can grow up to 5m long.
It's certainly huge, but smaller than an anaconda.
Because they have deadly poison don't need to become huge, so they don't grow that large. The struggle for survival of living organisms requires balanced with other living things, creatures that are so invincible that they overwhelm other creatures. Eventually, it will run out of food and will self-destruct. "More than enough is too much". I guess it's better to be "Moderation" in everything.
A Snake's biggest enemy is a "Snake".
When you think of snake food, you think of small animals such as frogs and mice, but they cannot chew their food and swallow it whole, making it difficult for animals with limbs to eat it. The easiest animal for a snake to eat is inevitably a snake.

Snakes are "Nocturnal" animals that are active even at night.
The reason they can see their surroundings even at night is because they have an infrared sensor called a "Pit Organ" in the front of their heads, which detects their surroundings based on temperature differences. Living animals have a high body temperature and can be found even when hidden.
By the way, where does a snake's "Tail" end?
In zoology, the tail refers to "The Part Beyond the Anus". The snake's anus is located about two-thirds from the head, and the tail is about one-third from the back.
In Japan, Okinawa's Habu is famous for its highly venomous snakes, but in China, the "Hundred-Step Snake" is famous for its venom.
The name comes from "If you get bitten, you will die within 100 steps". This snake lives in subtropical and jungle areas such as Taiwan island and the southeastern or southwestern parts of mainland China.

On the other hand, there are cultures in both Japan and China that consider snakes to be "Children of the Dragon" and consider them sacred.
The places where snakes live have a lot of moisture and a rich natural environment with thick vegetation, it was thought to be a "Messenger of God who bring blessings" and a symbol of abundance.
